Welcome to the Watterson-Evetts/Harrison-Cox Family Tree.
About Watterson & Harrison families
Please sign in to see more.
Welcome to Pete and Pam's family webpage. Sadly since compiling in the early 2000's my good friend Peter (who I knew for over 60 years) passed away in 2010, yet his Tree and that of his wife Pamela - who still lives -can be discovered in this Tree. My name is Bob Spiers and I am the compiler of the Tree.

The Tree formerly was known as Watterson-Evetts/Harrison-Cox but more simply as peteandpams Tribal Pages.

Pete's Paternal line is of course WATTERSON. His maternal EVETTS. Whilst Pam's Paternal line is HARRISON and maternal is COX. You will need to get used to looking people up under their birth surnames. This is easy for the men, but you need to ignore the married name of the ladies as they will be listed under their maiden name. So Pam will be Pam Harrison. Where they marry more than once, this does not change their look-up name which will always be their maiden name. Once you get to the right page, you will see spouses listed and offspring (if any).

Although the Tree is open to the public to view, only those with an access code - entered on the opening page - can get to see living relatives. If you do not have the access code you will need to make contact with me as Administrator. (You will see an envelope icon under where it ask you to enter the Access code). If I do not know you I will of course check via Pam or his daughter Michelle before making contact. Please allow time for me to do this.

It is my intention to add and/or update comments alongside names in the Tree. I will also add more names as research uncovers more information. I do need a lot more photos of family and particularly of Ancestors so if anyone has any, kindly make contact with me (as Administrator). I will need them in digital format but can scan photos and return them if necessary.

NEW: As Pam has a new partner Graham Harold Buck I have by convention added his line into the Tree.
However shortly after doing so I realised that Graham (and his sister Pamela Hicks, nee Buck) were
best served by having a Tree of their own. So I raised one entitled ' Buck-Richards and you
can find a link to it on the Home page.

Whilst accuracy is something I always try to achieve, it is just not possible to maintain 100% accuracy, as Genealogy is not an absolute science. Records and Census Returns get names & ages wrong, mainly when trying to decipher handwriting. So anyone spotting an obvious error,or even a less obvious one, should contact me as Administrator, or pass it on via Pete or Pam. I will then correct the item.

I hope you enjoy the content and learn how to access the different family branches. It isn't difficult. Just find the surname letter you want, and then click on the name you are looking for. From there you can go forward or backwards either by clicking on an Ancestor or looking for a Descendant. Do Enjoy.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
